About the Role
We’re hiring our first part-time employee to support the operations and logistics behind exceptional events. This is a behind-the-scenes, detail-focused role that’s perfect for someone who loves systems, checklists, and creating order. You’ll work directly with Danielle, executing clear SOPs to support clients, vendors, and events—while gaining hands-on experience in the event and consulting world.
While most work is remote, you must be based in the Greater Sacramento Area and available for occasional on-site support at events.
Key Responsibilities

Execute administrative and logistical tasks using clearly defined SOPs

Research, source, and book event vendors (venues, rentals, catering, A/V, etc.)

Maintain and organize a vendor tracking system and referral list

Prepare and update project materials (run of show, guest lists, event documents)

Communicate with vendors and clients as needed to confirm details or gather info

Follow up post-event with guests or clients to request referrals and testimonials

Ensure thank-you gifts are ordered and sent to speakers, sponsors, or vendors

Monitor and suggest local networking events that Danielle should attend

Draft internal and external emails using templates

Maintain Asana task boards and Google Drive files

Provide on-site, day-of event support for logistics and vendor coordination (a few times per month, advance notice provided)

Preferred Skills & Tools

Experience assisting at events or in hospitality is a plus, but not required

Hourly Rate: $20/hour

Location: Remote, but must live in the Greater Sacramento Region for occasional in-person events
